The Product Owner will be able to manage the subscription of monetized products. There are 3 scenarios provided in the SAMi Portal for your convenience, you may choose anyone of these to subscribe to a monetized product:

1 Scenario 1 - Subscribe (Monetized) Product from the Explore Page
2 Scenario 2 – To Subscribe Monetized Products from the Home Page (Search Option)
3 Scenario 3 – To Subscribe Monetized Products from the Home Page Featured Products

Scenario 1 - Subscribe (Monetized) Product from the Explore Page

Step 1: Login as a Product Owner.

Step 2: Enter the SAMi Portal URL in the browser, and press Enter.

Step 3: Enter the Email and Password in the respective fields and click Login.

You will land on to the Product Owner Dashboard.

Step 4: The Product Owner will be able to Manage Rate Plans by navigating to Explore page by clicking Explore Option from Main Menu.

Step 5: The Product Owner can view the Explore Marketplace screen in SAMi. The PO can be able to see the list of Products. To Subscribe a Product the PO can be able to search a product by entering the product name in the search field and clicking the Search Icon. The PO can be able to see the Product Searched.

Step 6: Click on the Product Read More link to view the product details & subscribe.

Step 7: The Product Owner will land on to the Product Detail Page. The PO will be able to see the Monetized SKU in the right of the screen.

Step 8: Click to check the Monetized SKU (amer-mint-partner01) option. Once the checkbox is clicked the Subscribe button will convert to Buy Plan for first time subscribers. The $ sign indicates that this is a Monetized product.

Note: If the Subscriber PO is already subscribed the Product, the Buy Button shows Disabled with already Purchased message.

Step 9: Click on Buy Plan button which redirects to Available Rate Plans Page with rate Plan details.

Step 10: The PO will be able to select the Team Name from the available list or Create New Team name by selecting others from the list.

Step 11: Enter App Name to add to App and click on Buy button to purchase the plan.

Step 12: The PO will be able to view the Pay with PayPal page. Select Pay with Debit or Credit Card.

The PO will be redirected to Pay with Debit or Credit Card page.

Step 13: The PO is required to enter all the card details for making the payment.

Step 14: Click the “Shipping address same as billing address”, otherwise, uncheck the radio button and provide a different shipping and billing address.

Step 15: Toggle towards left “Save info & create your PayPal account”, if you do not wish to create a PayPal account. By default, this button is enabled and will save your info to create a PayPal Account later.

Step 16: Click on Submit to Buy the Plan.

Step 17: The PO will be redirected to Payment review page and clicks on PayNow button to complete the Payment.

Step 18: The PO will be redirected to Purchasing Payment Page and clicks on View Apps to see the Subscribed Product Details.

The PO will be redirected to Apps Page.

Step 19: Select the Team from Select Team List. By default, the current Subscribed Monetized product App is displayed.

The PO will be able to view the List of Apps subscribed by scrolling down.

Step 20: The PO will be able to view the Newly Subscribed App from the list with the Product subscription Details.

The PO will be able to see Subscribed Product in the Developer Dashboard.

Step 21: Go to Dashboard and then click on Developer Dashboard in the Main Menu

Step 22: PO can be able to see Subscribed Rate Plan in My Subscription. Go to Dashboard Main Menu, click on My Subscription.

My Subscribed products are displayed.

The PO will be able to view Subscribed Rate Plan with the Rate Plan Name, SKU Name, Start Date and End Date of the Subscription, Cost of the Subscribed Rate Plan in this Page.

Scenario 2 – To Subscribe Monetized Products from the Home Page (Search Option)

The Product Owner will be allowed to manage the subscription of monetized products from Homepage.

Step 1: Login as a Product Owner.

Step 2: Enter the SAMi Portal URL in the browser, and press Enter.

Step 3: Enter the Email and Password in the respective fields and click Login.

You will land on to the Product Owner Dashboard.

Step 4: Click on Home page option from Main Menu.

Step 5: The PO will land on to the Homepage.

Step 6: In Homepage, the PO will be able to search a product from Search option to subscribe a product.

Step 7: Click on Search icon. The PO will land on to Explore Page to subscribe the product.

Step 8: The Product Owner will be able to Subscribe Monetized products from Explore Main Menu. Optionally, a more refined search can be performed from the Explore page using ratings, category filters by entering the product name in the search field and clicking the Search Icon.

Step 9: Click on Read More to go to Product detail page to Subscribe.

Step 10: The Product Owner will land on to the Product Detail Page. The PO will be able to see the Monetized SKU in the right of the screen.

Step 11: Click to check the Monetized SKU (amer-mint-partner01) option. Once the checkbox is clicked the Subscribe button will convert to Buy Plan for first time subscribers. The $ sign indicates that this is a monetized product.

SAMi can integrate with any alternate payment or billing tool. PayPal is the default billing tool used by SAMi.

Step 24: Go to Dashboard and then click on Developer Dashboard in the Main menu.

The Developer Dashboard appears.

Step 25: PO can be able to see Subscribed rate Plan in My Subscription. Go to Dashboard Main Menu, click on My Subscription.

The PO will be able to view Subscribed Rate Plan in this page.

Scenario 3 – To Subscribe Monetized Products from the Home Page Featured Products

The Product Owner will be allowed to manage the subscription of monetized products from Homepage and then navigating to Featured Products.

Step 1: Login as a Product Owner.

Step 2: Enter the SAMi Portal URL in the browser, and press Enter.

Step 3: Enter the Email and Password in the respective fields and click Login.

You will land on to the Product Owner Dashboard.

Step 4: Click on Homepage option from Main Menu.

The Featured Products page appears.

Step 5: The Product Owner will be able to view products by clicking Pagination right or left arrows on Featured Products.

Step 6: Click on View Products.

Step 7: Click on Selected Product. Redirects to Product detail Page. PO will be able to see the Monetized SKU in the right side of the page.

Step 8: Click to check the Monetized SKU (amer-mint-partner01) option. Once the checkbox is clicked the Subscribe button will convert to Buy Plan for first time subscribers. The $ sign indicates that this is a monetized product.
