1. Does SAMi support multiple Apps with multiple keys?

[Ans] SAMi supports 1 secret key per app. So multiple apps will have a unique distinct key reusable multiple times by the same user.

• SAMi supports multiple secret keys per app. Each app can have multiple set of credentials.

2. Can multiple users use the same SAMi key from a single app?

[Ans]

• We can accomplish the above use case of app/key sharing between multiple users/developers through ‘Teams’ functionality.

• All the users part of a team will be able access the apps created under the team using same credentials.

3. If a user creates multiple apps, will the user have the same key for all apps?

[Ans] Answer is same as in #1

• Each app created by the user will have a unique and different set of credentials.

4. Considering a non-apigee API management platform, can generate a custom key?

[Ans] APIs like generateKey(), getKey(), disableKey() can be used to integrate SAMi to other API-management platforms.

5. If an app is in a pending state, can the subscriber continue to use the API Keys?

[Ans] The subscriber will be able to view the keys, but cannot functionally use them. The API Management gateway will throw errors.
